If your seeds are being crushed, I would suggest removing the hopper and the plates, washing them with warm water and dish soap (do not rinse) then air dry. Your unit has static which pulls the seeds back. By letting a dish soap dry on your unit, it provides a film which acts as a barrier and works against static. If the dish soap doesn’t work I would recommend trying Seed Slik. Seed Slik can be purchased at most Farm and Fleet Stores.

The Cucumber 18110 that comes in the optional seed plate kit is the best seed plate for sunflower seeds.
